Corredores Indignados MDQ

Hoy corrí en “la clandestina” una carrera que organizaron los corredores de Mar del Plata, a modo de protesta por la falta de apoyo de parte del municipio a estas actividades y a los excesivos cánones que pretenden cobrar para que se pueda organizar una carrera.

Sigamos haciendo fuerza para que Mar del Plata vuelva a tener una maratón propia. 

ya que estoy comento que corrí con las Vibram, cada vez me gustan más para correr.

My very first VFF run, in SFO!

I had today my very first Vibram Five Fingers run, I can’t be more pleased, the shoes were really comfortable, and manage to run for more than one hour without feeling sore or pain.

Also the test run was a little harder than expected, since it was pouring down, and tey never let me down, even in the really steep hills here in SFO. I hope to be able to try them on some trail soon.

As a side note I must say, I got lost. It was a really bad idea to go for a run on a place you actually don’t know much about without carrying a map, won’t do that again.

At the end I was really wet, my calfs were kinda sore and had a small friction burn in my right foot, but it was fun will do it again later today maybe (this was two days ago)

I am still working on this song, I named it “Celtic Air” mostly because the melody sounds celtic to me. I recorded it on a netbook with Ubuntu and Audacity, the soundcard is a Behringer UCA 202, it’s really a bargain for its price. I am eager to try Musix or some other linux based realtime software to record sound. Have anyone tryed Musix lately?

Todavía estoy trabajando en esta canción, decidí llamarca  ”Celtic Air” debido a que la melodía me suena a celta. Estas ideas fueron grabadas en una netbook con Ubuntu y Audacity, la placa de sonido es una Behringer UCA 202. Estoy con ganas de probar Musix o alguna otra distribucion de linux para audio. Alguien probó Musix ultimamente?

I recorded this song with garage band for iPad the mic is just the iphone headset, it’s an improvisation over a celtic alike idea I had, it is still WIP so I am taking advice and ideas, I will record it again in a more polished way once is finished.

the guitar is my loved and old classic nylon stringed guitar.

I recorded this solo with Garage Band, used a Zoom 707 box just to get guitar to a line level so i could match the input of the sound card (Behringer UCA-202). The effects are fromt he garage band, I don’t specially like them but are handy to use for the fun of it. the guitar is a Washburn N1. I hope you’ll like it.
